2ds agoAuthorities say an officer was injured after he was dragged by a suspect trying to flee a traffic stop in Valley Stream.
It happened on Green Acres Road after Charmaine Norville was stopped because her inspection sticker expired.
Police say Norville refused to give the officer her license and registration, then sped off with her door open.
The officer was hospitalized with several injuries.
Norville is facing a judge on Friday.
