Fun World has been a Halloween merchandise supplier for more than 60 years and says it has always turned a profit.
Its CEO says this will be the first year it won't.
Alan Geller says his costs have skyrocketed due to tariffs on goods imported from China, and they are now paying 145% more for items than they had budgeted - a cost they expect to be passed on to consumers.
He says costumes this fall will likely be in limited supply, with less variation in years past.
He believes if the tariffs are removed quickly, the upcoming season can still be saved, but if not, customers should expect much higher prices in the fall.
