A teen operating an electric bike was injured in a crash in Nassau County Monday evening.

The 16-year-old boy was traveling southbound on Park Boulevard and crossing over Sunrise Highway around 7:30 p.m. in Massapequa Park.

Nassau police tell News 12 that’s when the juvenile collided with a 2015 Ford pickup truck being driven by an 18-year-old male.

The e-bike operator suffered multiple lacerations and a leg injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The man driving the Ford stayed at the scene and was not hurt, police say.
