The son of a woman who was found dead in the woods of Manorville on Feb. 11 was arrested and charged in her death, police said.
Curtis Trent Jr., 36, of Riverhead, is accused of killing Kathleen Harrison, 63. He is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Riverhead Town Court on murder charges.
Harrison was reported missing by her son on Jan. 29. She was later found dead in a wooded area on Connecticut Avenue in Manorville.
When her body was found, police said they believed she was a victim of a crime.
