Nassau County police and an East Norwich family are asking the public's help finding a woman who went missing Friday night.
Detectives say 32-year-old Brittany Kritis was last seen in Oyster Bay on foot.
Her husband, Fernando Garip, says she was in a panicked state Friday night, jumped out of a moving car, threw her phone into a bush and ran off. That was the last time her family saw her.
Kritis is described as 5 foot 7 inches in height, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black pants and a black jacket with a fur collar.
"We've been combing wooded areas, rural areas, suburban areas, everything. So we're just asking for the public's help here. We really need the public's help to locate her," Garip told News 12 on Sunday night. "We're going to be at this until she's home. I don't care what we have to do, what needs to be done."
Brittany's husband says they are searching near the East Norwich-Oyster Bay border.
Nassau police told News 12 they sent up their helicopter and drones several times since Friday as part of the ongoing search.
Detectives ask anyone with information on where she could be to call the Nassau County Police Department Missing Person Squad at 516-573-7347.
