Body‑camera footage from Justin Timberlake’s 2024 DWI arrest in Sag Harbor is one step closer to becoming public, according to newly filed court documents.
Records filed Thursday show that attorneys for the pop star and the Village of Sag Harbor have made “substantial progress” toward resolving the dispute over whether the footage can be released.
Earlier this month, Timberlake filed a lawsuit seeking to block the Sag Harbor Village Police Department from releasing the body‑cam video connected to his June 2024 arrest. The legal action argued that releasing the footage could violate his rights and cause unwarranted harm.
Timberlake ultimately accepted a plea deal in the case, reducing the charge to a traffic violation.
