Samantha is the nation's No. 1-ranked high school racewalker. She earned that title a few months ago at the New Balance Indoor Nationals. She won the mile race in seven minutes, 30 seconds. She's a 13-time All-American and a four-time Nassau County indoor champion. She was also the Vikings MVP in the winter track season.

She's a member of the American Jewish Committee's Leaders of Tomorrow Program that fights antisemitism. She's also done numerous volunteer work at her synagogue.

She's in the Key Club, Art Club and Painting Club. She also created "Power of Positivity Phrases." Those are stickers that she makes and puts up in the school bathrooms reminding students to be kind, be strong and to stop bullying. She also puts the stickers in businesses around town.

Samantha has a 4.5 unweighted GPA and is also an All-County soccer player. She plays the piano, saxophone and sings in the chorus.
