A teen was taken to the hospital after a near drowning incident in Suffolk County Sunday night.
Suffolk police responded to a call for a possible drowning around 8:30 p.m. in Mastic Beach.
Aid was rendered to the 13-year-old male after he was removed from the backyard pool at a home on Biltmore Drive.
The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.
Police tell News 12 the boy is expected to be OK.
