If you can think it, chances are this Patchogue print shop can make it. Patch Print Ship & More Inc. is turning ideas into custom creations, from shot glasses and cutting boards to socks with your face on them, all with a Long Island touch. The shop is run by James and Ron Diele-Stein, a married couple and business partners who built their brand around local pride and personalization. “We are not just your typical printing and shipping shop, we also make many local products,” they said. Their process starts on a computer screen, where designs are created before being brought to life with in-house printing. “It’s something at your fingertips,” they said. “You know how we are in New York, we always want things instantly,” said James. From custom gifts featuring pets and family members to Long Island-themed merchandise, their products are designed to feel personal and local. The idea for the business came during the couple’s honeymoon, a leap of faith that quickly became reality. They opened their doors just one day before the COVID-19 shutdowns began. “We had to adapt,” they said. “We survived being open during COVID… It’s a good sign. Lots of businesses didn’t make it through that.” Despite the rocky start, the shop has grown into a staple in the Patchogue community, continuing to blend creativity with convenience.
