From French vanilla to graham cracker, one business in Nassau County is serving up more than 200 coffee flavors for customers across the country.

Joel Steinberg started Bean and Brew Coffee & Tea in the early 1990s after leaving the construction industry to pursue a new business venture.

More than 30 years later, he’s still roasting and manufacturing gourmet coffee, with products available at local bagel stores, delis and supermarkets. The company also ships nationwide.

The business offers a wide variety of flavors, including toasted coconut almond, hazelnut and vanilla cappuccino. Its coffee pods and one-pound bags can be found at local bagel stores, delis and supermarkets, with products shipped nationwide.

For Steinberg, the most rewarding part is knowing customers enjoy what he makes and keep coming back. “When we see they enjoy it, and they come back time after time, so we know we’re doing the right thing,” he said.
