A large police presence responded to a fatal incident in Amityville Friday night.

Police, fire crews and EMS were at the scene on Oak Street and Broadway. The Village of Amityville confirmed on its Facebook page that the roads were closed to traffic because police were investigating the incident.

A bus was seen near the area, but police did not confirm if the bus was involved in the incident and the Facebook post also did not specify. News 12 also saw the Suffolk County Police Department's Crime Scene Section near the area.
