Authorities say 23-year-old Keenan Brady, of Greenlawn, drove while impaired by drugs/alcohol on Sunday night and crashed into a Ford at the intersection of Oakwood Road and Tippin Drive in Huntington Station.
They say he injured one person.
He allegedly fled that scene and then crashed into a parked car on West 22 St. in Huntington.
According to court documents, Brady had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and visible eyelid tremors. He allegedly smelled of alcohol and cannabis.
Brady was arraigned at first district court in Central Islip and pleaded not guilty. His lawyer said that a breath test showed that he was under the legal limit. A blood test is pending.
Brady didn’t say anything to News 12 as he walked out of the courtroom with his face covered. He is due back in court on May 20.
