All eastbound lanes on the Long Island Expressway were temporarily closed Friday morning due to a tractor-trailer fire.

The Nassau County Fire Marshals Office says the fire, near Exit 35, was able to be extinguished by the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department without any injuries.

Hazmat units were requested on the scene due to two leaking fuel tanks. About 150 gallons of diesel fuel were recovered, according to fire marshals.
