A crash left an e-bike rider seriously inured Friday night in North Amityville, according to police.

Authorities say the 41-year-old East Massapequa resident struck the driver’s side of a vehicle at the intersection of County Line Road and West Oak Street around 8:20 p.m.

He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.

Police say both vehicles involved were impounded for safety checks.
