A 37-year-old man is dead after crashing into a utility pole in Roosevelt on Saturday evening.

The man was driving a sedan on Brookside Avenue near the intersection of West Centennial Avenue when he struck a utility pole, according to Nassau County police.

Three passengers were also in the vehicle — a 36-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man, and a 9-year-old girl.

All three suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
