The New York Police Department says two teens were arrested in connection to an incident involving a Lynbrook teen who fell into a shaft on the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge on Monday.

Police say a 15-year-old male was arrested by NYPD officers Wednesday and charged with criminal trespass and a 14-year-old was arrested Thursday and charged with criminal trespass and reckless endangerment.

As previously reported, the NYPD and FDNY had to rescue a 16-year-old on Monday after being stuck for at least six hours in a shaft on the bridge.

The Lynbrook Police Department said a prior tip alerted authorities to the incident.
